We are Gravity, FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team #20267

We are a small community team based in Mont-Tremblant, QC, Canada.

Our Story

In 2021, and with some history running a FLL (FIRST Lego League) team, the coaching staff decided to start a small FTC team. We won the Quebec Championships that year, and the team has been in the top teams steadily since then.

Why the name “Gravity” ?

The team name “Gravity” was chosen because gravity is a universal force that has an important impact. It takes skill, knowledge and creativity to defy it. However, Gravity also attracts and unites, becoming a great assist and lending its force to those who know how use it strategically. Our logo represents the team at the center, reaching out and pulling in other teams, like a gravity well: uniting. It also emphasis that gravity has no impact unless there are other teams surrounding us. The dash marks represent possibility and the things not yet in our reach.
